A collaborative installation done with students at Whitman College. With little direction students worked with me in silence to grow a nonverbal improvisational dialogue in installation form. This work was constructed in three movements and was tended by my collaborators after I departed. It grew and died under their tutelage. As we built we recorded the sounds of us making the work. These were then played over our actions. The sounds were not shared with the viewer but were only emphasized as part of the assemblage coming to form.
